The LCA Market is intended for your benefit, in whatever discipline, to display and sell your own work from your own web site. You are totally responsible for sales generated from your site and no commission or other form of payment to the LCA is required or accepted.
To provide you and LCA Market customers with the highest quality of products and services, we ask all artists to meet certain standards:
- You must be a member of the League of Christian Artists.
- You must be a producing artist, artisan, writer or performer.
- You do not have to be a full time artist or making a living from the sale of your work.
- You must be registered with your full name, web site name, working email address, mailing address, and working phone number.
- Your web site must be fully functional, that is, when a visitor to the LCA Market clicks through to your site, they should be able to conduct normal business with you.
- You do not necessarily have to be able to sell by means of e-commerce but visitors must be able to contact you by phone, post, or email.
- All artwork, especially main design elements, must be of original design by the artist/studio.
- No work may be assembled from commercial kits or commercial molds.
- All work must be made or assembled within your home country.
- Music does not have to be original music written by the artist.
- If employees or contractors help produce the art, the work must be directly supervised by the artist within their studio or community.
- Resellers are not permitted, that is, a third party who buys your art for resale or a third party representing your work.
- Though not necessary, we encourage you to have a text description and a price for art displayed (either retail or wholesale).
- You must offer some method of payment on your site even if it’s only contact by email or phone and making arrangements privately.
- All items must be available for sale. Having unavailable merchandise listed on your site is not good business and turns buyers away from all shops in the LCA Market.
- Items that cannot be legally sold or traded cannot be listed and if listed the link to your site will be subject to immediate removal by the LCA Market.
- Your site must not have any unresolved customer complaint against it that arises from anyone who contacts you and subsequently files a complaint through the LCA Market. Any complaint must be resolved in a timely manner.
- The LCA Market holds our artist affiliates to a high, ethical, conduct code of business practice. If a customer complains directly to us about an artist’s web site, we investigate the complaint, and direct the shop to resolve the complaint against them. If the complaint cannot be resolved in a timely manner, we may temporarily remove the link from the LCA Market until the complaint is resolved. A second complaint is sufficient grounds for removing the link from the LCA Market. The LCA Market also may remove a link for being rude or abusive to customers, dishonest, for unprofessional behavior, or it we feel that in our best judgment, leaving the link in place will cause future problems.
- All sites in the LCA Market are subject to review at any time. The LCA Market retains the right to decide whether a site and/or the artwork represented is appropriate for a link with our site and a link may be removed for any reason at any time.
When you submit a .jpeg of your logo or artwork, you agree to the LCA Market Guidelines.
We reserve to the right to refuse service to anyone at any time for any reason.
